Without the option you still see the summaries subscribers who have it already produced. No. If you use your own key it is stored encrypted on the device and requests go straight from the device to the provider you picked. Neither the key, nor the text sent, nor the summaries produced go through Feedrion's servers, and those summaries are never synchronised.
